The Unveil of the ACHA ASPIRE Scorecard

Over the last two years, ACHA, in partnership with CRUK, KILELE Health, and FIND dx, has been working with our consultant team, as well as the ACHA ASPIRE Working Group in developing the ACHA ASPIRE Cervical Health Scorecard, which will officially be unveiled on 24th November 2025.
The Scorecard is an accountability tool designed to accelerate Africa’s progress toward the WHO 90-70-90 cervical cancer elimination targets. Its launch coincides with the inaugural global commemoration of World Cervical Cancer Elimination Day (17 November), themed: Act Now: Eliminate Cervical Cancer, underscoring Africa’s commitment to ending this preventable disease.
Cervical cancer remains a pressing public health challenge; 221 women die daily across the continent due to limited access to HPV vaccination, screening, and treatment. The Scorecard responds to this gap by offering a standardized, community-centered mechanism to assess policy environments, track progress, identify gaps, and guide evidence-driven interventions at both community and policy levels.
It visualizes indicators across HPV vaccination, screening, treatment, governance, and financing, providing policymakers, advocates, and partners with Africa-generated data viewed through a civil society lens.
What to Expect
