Africa Free of Cervical Cancer
Limited knowledge of cervical cancer risk factors, signs and symptoms, socio-cultural influences, myths and misconceptions about HPV Vaccines and poor access to screening are some of the key factors that contribute to the low uptake of cervical cancer prevention among women in many African countries.
The standardized ACHA IEC* Materials aims to revolutionize awareness campaigns and empower communities through culturally sensitive tools that are: Comprehensive, Evidence Based, Validated and Culturally Sensitive.
Our approach prioritizes sustainability by facilitating the replication of successful methods, minimizing the need for constant reinvention. We engage local communities, respecting their beliefs and traditions, and empowering them to address specific needs.
This inclusive process fosters ownership and investment in cervical cancer prevention efforts.
