Distance doesn’t diminish our love.

Women in Africa face significant health disparities and inequities, but cervical cancer doesn’t have to be one of them.

At ACHA, our efforts are organized into five key workstreams, each designed to address critical aspects of cervical cancer prevention and care.

  1. Targeted Advocacy Research: We conduct in-depth research to inform our advocacy efforts, focusing on evidence-based strategies to influence health policies and mobilize resources.
  2. Capacity Building and Training: We empower healthcare providers, community leaders, and stakeholders through targeted training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge required to provide high-quality cervical health services and support.
  3. Sustainable Fundraising and Resource Mobilization: Ensuring the longevity and effectiveness of our programs, we engage in resource mobilizationn through building partnerships.
  4. Strategic Community Engagement and Outreach: We engage with community members in meaningful ways to tailor our initiatives to local needs, ensuring they are culturally sensitive and relevant.
  5. Standardized Communications and IEC Materials: We produce standardized Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials to disseminate accurate information about cervical cancer prevention and treatment.

Civil society is the direct link to the community and they know where the shoe is pinching, so when we take the knowledge to civil society organisations they are better able to measure what is happening to be able to bring evidence that can inform decision making.
